An Early and Experimental Sonambient by Harry Bertoia

Very early sounding/kinetic work by Bertoia. Hundreds of thin gilt wires are attached at a slight angle to a thick bronze base, the taller outer rods arranged to conceal a pocket of interior rods of a shorter length. Use of the gilt wires tend to Date to the earliest years of Bertoia´s work with repeated vertical elements, each being individually soldered to the base surface. The tone is quiet and bright, with short sustain.
