Wall Cabinet by Philip Lloyd Powell

Outstanding early example of Powell´s woodworking skills in this wall cabinet. Assymetrical and deeply chip carved doors of solid walnut, with an applied antique carved lion´s head handle. The case is clad in green leather, its interior fitted with a pair of walnut shelves. Brilliant example of the craftsmanship flowingf rom the New Hope PA area beginning in the 1950´s with Powell and his contemporaries, Nakashima, Evans, and Harry Bertoia.
