Pair of Wall Sconces Attributed to Gispen

Pair of unusual wall sconces, attributed to Gispen, Belgium 1960´s. Each composed of a gullwing curved steel body, surmounted by a cylindrical shade. The sconce bodies are painted an ivory-creme tone, the shades are plated in copper with an unusual rose tone, sealed with lacquer. The light is completely concealed, dramatically illuminating the entire form. 24" H 9" W 4" D.
