A Dense Patinated Copper Bush by Harry Bertoia

Hundreds of hours went into the creation of each Bush sculpture, this highly unusual example being no exception. The surface, extremely dense with patinated buds, is quite a departure from the more commonly known style. Rather than spherical buds at the end of each tiny branch, a narrow copper rod has been placed. Each tip is vertically aligned, making a wondrous tightly packed surface. The entire surface is heavily patinated, blending browns into deep forest green.
